Beach WA 1127 is a 70 m long pocket of sand located at the mouth of Pot Alley Gorge, a small but deep gorge carved in the 80 m high sandstone plateau by a 2 km long usually dry creek. The beach faces northwest and receives waves averaging about 1 m, which break across the bordering 50 m wide rock platforms and surge up a usually steep reflective beach. The beach is backed by 20 m high cliffs then the steep slopes of the gorge, with the creek bed entering on the southern side. An access road and car park are located above the southern side of the gorge.
