Beaches WA 1816-1818 extends east of the rocky point and face northeast across 300 m wide sand flats. They are exposed to northerly waves and winds. A continuous 200 m wide band of low foredunes backs the beaches, with the vehicle track to the rear. Beach WA 1816 consists of two pockets of sand totalling 200 m in length, with a central rock outcrop, bordered by the long point to the west and a rock outcrop to the east.
