Beaches WA 1816-1818 extends east of the rocky point and face northeast across 300 m wide sand flats. They are exposed to northerly waves and winds. A continuous 200 m wide band of low foredunes backs the beaches, with the vehicle track to the rear.
Beach WA 1818 continues on the eastern side of the beachrock for 100 m to a low rocky point, beyond which the shoreline trends to the south. Rocks outcrop along and off the beach and mangroves fringe the eastern point.
