Beach WA 1862 is located 1 km to the east on an inner part of the barrier system. It is a curving 300 m long low energy beach that grades into mangroves at either end, the mangroves extend 200-300 offshore and form a mangrove-lined embayment, while sand and rock flats extends 1 km north of the beach.
