Beaches WA 1759-1763 occupy the southern 2.5 km of the bay shore, all facing west to northwest out of the open bay and into the south. They are all separated by rocky points and backed by red dolerite slopes rising to 20-40 m. Each consists of a high tide sand beach fronted by a low tide terrace and in some places rock outcrops.
Beach WA 1761 is located on the northern side of a low 100 m wide rocky point. It continues north for 250 m to a 200 m wide point. The beach is backed by an unstable foredune with sand blowing up to 150 m inland onto the backing gassy bedrock slopes with 4 WD tracks crisscrossing the backing dunes.
