The 500 m wide cove is also filled with mangroves and backed by salt flats then steep rocky slopes, with a vehicle track running along the base of the slopes. Beaches WA 1791 and 1792 are located on the northern entrance to the cove. Beach WA 1791 is a 50 m long pocket of east-facing sand located at the tip of the northern point.
