Cowrie Cove lies 2 km to the south and is linked to Watering Cove by continuous salt flats. The 500 m wide cove is also filled with mangroves and backed by salt flats then steep rocky slopes, with a vehicle track running along the base of the slopes. Beaches WA 1791 and 1792 are located on the northern entrance to the cove. Beach WA 1792 is located 200 m to the west just inside the bay. It is a 200 m long south-facing sandy beach bordered and backed by 20 m high steep rocky slopes.
