Beach WA 1758 is located outside the bay, 1 km to the north and faces west across 10 km wide Maitland Sound. The 150 m long beach is surrounded by sloping red dolerite that rises to 40 m. Sand has blown up to 100 m up over the backing slopes partly blanketing the rocks with sand and dune grass.
