Beach WA 1740 is located at the northern end of the beach between two rock groynes that have been constructed either side of the main boat ramp. The beach is a 50 m long pocket of sand located next to the boat ramp and is used more for boats and landing passengers than for swimming. A large car park is located behind and to the west of the beach, occupying much of Foul Point.
