Beach WA 1735 is located 500 m to the east and is a 500 m long northwest-facing, slightly more exposed beach. It is fronted by the 500 m wide sand flats and backed by a 200 m wide band of low foredune ridges and wind blown sand then gently rising bedrock that reaches 30 m. The northern end of the beach is bordered by bedrock, which continues around the northern tip of the ‘island’ for 1.5 km to beach WA 1736 located on the northeast-facing shore of the island.
