Beach WA 1714 is located at the mouth a 200 m wide tidal creek, which links to the mouth of the usually dry Yanyare River, 3.5 km to the east. The beach is located 4.5 km east of the Goorea Point, with a 300 wide band of mangroves in between and older barrier islands behind. The 300 m long beach is the southern end of a recurved spit that has been built by sand moving into the western side of the creek mouth. It is free of mangroves because it is paralleled by the deeper inlet tidal channel.
Beach Length: 0.3km
