Beach WA 1820 commences on the northern side of the boundary rocks and curves to the north for 200 m before a 200 m wide band of mangroves front the remainder of the sandy shoreline up to the next low rock outcrop 300 m to the north. The mangroves and adjacent tidal flats are sheltered by a low rocky outcrop located 400 m off the point and linked by the flats at low tide.
