Beach WA 1830 connects the two tips of the cape. The beach is 350 m long faces north, with two 10 m high headlands extending 200 m seaward of each end (Fig. 4.391). It is backed by a 200 wide section of low dunes, with the open water outlet for the power station crossing the western end of the foredunes and draining out across the beach.
