Beach WA 1409 commences on the northern side of the foreland and curves to the north for 4.8 km to low sandy Carbla Point, named after Carbla Homestead located 10 km to the northeast. A vehicle track from the homestead reaches the northern point. The beach is paralleled by a 100-200 m wide band of irregular rock flats, edged by sand while it is backed by a double beach ridge barrier. The outer widens to 400 m in the south, while the inner backs the centre of the beach. A usually dry creek crosses the southern end of the beach.
