Beach WA 1283 is located 3 km to the south at the end of a road from Cararang Station, 7 km to the southwest. The beach faces east and curves round for 600 m between low calcarenite points. It is backed by several beach ridges, which have prograded the centre of the beach about 200 m, while sand flats extend 500 m into the bay.
