At the northern end of beach WA1336 the shoreline turns and trends due north towards Denham. Beach WA 1337 occupies the first 3.5 km of crenulate bluffed shoreline consisting of crenulate bluffs which are low in the south rising to 40 m in the north. The beach consists of a narrow strip of high tide sand that widens into some of the small embayments, and is replaced by 1 km of steep, 40 m high bluffs past the northern end. There are some minor climbing dunes along the northern side of the first three embayments, while sand flats extend 1.5 km offshore. An abandoned landing ground is located adjacent to the main road 1 km east of the beach, with a 4 WD track out via the landing ground to the top of the bluffs.
