Beach WA 1336 is a curving 3.3 km long beach located along the shore of an open west-facing embayment. The narrow beach commences at the base of 40 m high bluffs, which curve round to the north then northwest. The foredune has climbed the lower more southerly-facing northern bluffs with a few small active blufftop parabolics extending about 100 m inland over older, larger vegetated transgressive dunes. Sand flats fill the bay and extend 1.5 km offshore (Fig. 2.18b) narrowing to 1 km in the north. The 4 WD track reaches the southern bluffs and provides access to and a view up the beach, while a second track off the main road reaches the northern section of the beach.
Beach Length: 3.3km
