Beach WA 1353 commences 2 km south of Cape Lesueur and trends relatively straight northwest to the cape. For the first 1.5 km it is wedged in at the base of 40 m high red bluffs, while the northern 500 m forms the western side of the sandy foreland that forms the cape. Sand moves northward along the beach and around the cape to supply beach WA 1354. In addition sand dunes have blown up the bluffs behind the northern end and onto the blufftop.
