The Eastern Bluff is a 3 km long section of steep 20-30 m high red bluffs that backs parts of beaches WA 1384 and 1385. Beach WA 1384 commences towards the northern end of the bluffs and trends to the north for 2.7 km as a crenulate sandy beach to the recurved spit that partly overlaps beach WA 1383. There are patches of vegetated sand plain up to 200 m wide between the bluffs and shoreline
