Beach WA 1385 extends south of the steep bluffed section for 3.5 km to the mouth of Dubaut Creek. For most of its length it is a narrow crenulate beach located at the base of the bluffs, which gradually decrease in height towards the creek. A 1 km long sand plain has prograded about 200 m on the northern side of the creek mouth, with mangroves lining the creek mouth as well as scattered along the adjacent beach. Sand flats averaging several hundred metres wide parallel both beaches.
At Dubaut Creek the shoreline turns and trend east for 4 km to Dubaut Point, a low sand point backed by vegetated pindan rising gradually to 30 m. The 50 m wide creek drains a 150 ha salt lake, that has been partly enclosed by a 3 km long sand barrier that has prograded across its northern side as part of beach WA 1386.
