Beach WA 1399 extends for 2.9 km due south of the inflection down into Hamelin Pool to a low dune-draped pindan point. The beach links the two points of the slight embayment and consists of a low overwashed prone shore, backed by wide overwash flats and shallow ’lagoon’, with the original pindan shoreline several hundred metres to the rear.
