The southerly wind waves move sand along the northern end of Nanga Bay and around Goulet Bluff to beaches WA 1312 and 1313. Beach WA 1312 is a 2.2 km long north-trending beach, with long sand spits episodically moving along the front of the beach at times enclosing a series of small elongate lagoon/s between the spit/s and beach (Fig. 4.305). The spits eventually attach to the beach and the sand continues along the narrow northern half below 30-50 m high scarped bluffs. Sand flats, deposited by the longshore sand transport, extend up to 3 km west of the shoreline.
Beach Length: 2.2km
