Beach WA 1311 is located on the northern side of the narrow southern spur and continues west for 1.1 km along the base of the main 40 m high bluff to the sandy point that surrounds the northern end of the bluff. The southern half of the beach has filled a small 150 m deep embayment, while the northern half runs along the base of the bluffs to the point. Both beaches are fronted by sand flats that widen to 200 m at the point, then seagrass meadows, with seagrass debris usually littering the beaches. A gravel road runs out from the Denham road to the bluffs, with spurs off the to the three beaches (WA 1310-1312).˛
