Beach WA 1393 commences at the southern end of beach WA 1392 and trends to the southwest for 2.5 km as a low shelly spit, into a 2 km wide 3 km deep shallow bay that forms the southwestern end of the bight. A track off the Denham Road runs out to the tidal flats that fill the remainder of the bay. This bay backs onto the 2 km wide Taillefer Isthmus and a tidal creek at the southern end of the beach drains salt flats that link across to the rear of Goulet Bluff and beach WA 1310 thereby joining Peron Peninsula with the mainland.
