Beach WA 1258 commences 500 m to the east at the end of the bluffs and continues to curve to the southeast for 900 m to a protruding sandy point. Sand flats averaging 200 m wide front the beach. The small community of Useless Loop is located on the bluffs to the lee of beaches WA 1256 and 1257, and western end of WA 1258.
