Beaches WA 885 is located 100 m to the north and consists of a 250 m long west-facing beach, which is clear of the entrance breakwater and exposed to normal wave activity averaging about 1 m. The beach is backed by lower 5 m high vegetated bluffs then the northern end of Clarecastle Road. It is fronted by a 50 m wide intertidal platform, with rocks littering the northern end of the beach.
