The Spot (WA 899) is a popular surfing location with slightly higher waves and a lefthand break along the southern calcarenite reef. A vehicle track from the Two Rock Road runs for 500 m straight out to the surfing break. The beach extends for 3.2 km to the north, covering beaches commonly known as Unwin Shoals (mid-section) and Leeman’s Landing (northern end), terminating at the cuspate Wreck Point. Waves average just over 1 m along the beach and usually maintain a low tide terrace, with rips cutting across the bar during periods of higher waves.
