Beach WA 898 extends north of the small foreland for 1.1 km to the next reef-attached foreland known as The Spot. Wave height increases up the beach with a reflective southern end and a low tide terrace in amongst the reefs at the northern end. The beach is backed by vegetated dunes that rise rapidly to 20 m and extends up to 5 km inland, with a 20 ha blowout located behind the northern end. The Two Rocks Road crosses the dunes 1 km inland and a 4 WD track reaches the centre of the beach.
