Beach K 599 is located on the mainland immediately south of the southeastern tip of Wollaston Island. The 150 m long beach faces northeast toward Katers Island and consists of a high tide beach fronted by 200-300 m wide sand flats associate with the 100 m wide tidal channel between the island and mainland.
