Beaches NT 176 and NT 177 lie 5 km further to the southwest. They are neighbouring beaches separated by a small tidal creek, with the coastal plain to either side. They are 0.6 km and 1 km long respectively, and are fronted by 12-14 low sand ridges across the 500 m wide sand flats, which merge on the outer edge with a continuous coral reef.
