Beach NT 1003 begins on the western side of the groynes and is a curving 2 km long beach that finally faces east where it terminates at sandy Dundas Point (Fig. 5.112). Much of the beach has been backed by a rubble seawall, with a gravel road on top and a car park at the point. A 300 m long jetty extends across the 200 m wide sand flats into the bay from the car park area. Only the southern 100 m of the sandy point remain in a natural state.
Beach Length: 2km
