Beach NT 1005 is located at the top of the point, a series of rounded granite rocks and boulders called Wargarpunda Point. The 200 m long beach is wedged in on the west side of the point. It is cut in places by the rocks and fronted by scattered rock reefs and shallow seafloor. The fenced bauxite plants lies immediately behind the beach.
