Beach NT 721 begins on the north side of the foreland and gently curves for 3 km to the north, terminating as the beach narrows and gives way to 20 m high scarped bluffs. The beach receives sufficient waves in the south to produce an attached bar cut by a few rips, with a continuous bar for most of the length.
