This is a 2.5 km long northwest-facing beach that begins amongst rocks on the point, followed by a small tidal creek then a continuous sandy beach. It is fronted by low ridged sand flats that widen from 300 m in the west to 1 km off an eastern boundary tidal creek. The beach is the outermost ridge of a 1 km wide series of beach ridges and recurved spits that have filled the backing embayment with 200 ha of wave deposited sand, together with back barrier salt marshes and mangroves lining the creek.
Beach Length: 2.5km
