Pococks Beach (NT 164) is a 5.2 km long, northwest-facing, sightly curving beach that terminates in lee of West Alligator Head. The beach is fringed by mangroves and backed by a 100-200 m wide series of low foredunes. A vehicle track reaches the northern end of the beach where a small camping area and bore are located.
