Langarra community lies at the eastern end of beach NT 695. The 4.8 km long beach begins in lee of 200 m wide rock flats, which dominate the western half of the beach. Once the rocks diminish, the moderate waves maintain an attached bar along the eastern half of the beach, which widens to sand flats as well as some rock flats at the community, which is located in the west-facing northeast corner. The community consists of about 12 houses and has a landing ground in lee of the eastern poin
