Seven kilometres southeast of the point is a second break in the mangroves within which is located 250 m long beach NT 671. The beach is fringed by mangroves, with scattered mangroves growing on the 250 m wide tidal flats. A vehicle track across the salt flats provides access to the beach, which can be used for launching boats at high tide.
