Beach NT 1399 begins on the south side of the point and trends southwest for 4.3 km to another small rocky point, with a sand foreland located in lee of rock reefs in the centre of the beach. It is backed by a 200-300 m wide beach ridge plain north of the foreland and a narrower system to the south. Waves average less than 0.5 m at the beach.
