On the eastern side of the 100 m long section of beachrock is beach NT 435, a 1.5 km long beach, backed by a narrow beach ridge then woods and fronted by sand, then reefs. It terminates at a 100 m long protrusion in the coastal plain in lee of a small bedrock reef.
