Beach NT 423 begins on the eastern side of the creek and runs for 4.3 km as a gently curving north-facing arc. To the west it is backed by beach ridges, which narrow as the low coastal plain reaches the shore along the eastern half of the beach. Three small usually dry upland creeks drain off the plain across the beach. A vehicle track from the main Cobourg road runs out on the eastern side of the creek to reach the beach.
Beach Length: 4.3km
