Beach NT 387 extends from the eastern side of the creek mouth for 600 m to the bordering mangrove-fringed bedrock. This is a very low energy, northwest-facing embayed beach, deep within Raffles Bay. It is backed by a low 200 m wide beach ridge plain then wetlands, and fronted by 300 m wide mud flats.
