Beach NT 1424 begins on the south side of Rantyirrity Point, with 1 km of mangroves separating it from beach NT 1423. As the beach begins the shoreline curves round to face south and finally southeast at the southern end of the 2.5 km long beach. It terminates at a small creek mouth, which drains a 100 ha area of salt flats and a few mangroves along the creek. The beach is fronted by patchy sand and reef flats extending 1-1.5 km into the gulf. It is backed by a narrow band of beach ridges, and then older vegetated parabolics extending up to 1 km inland. A 4WD track follows the northern side of the creek to reach the southern end of the beach.
Beach Length: 2.5km
