Six kilometres further south is a 700 m long gap in the mangroves located on the northern side of a small tidal creek which contains beach NT 159. It consists of a low sandy beach ridge-chenier, backed by mangroves and fronted by mangrove peat, scattered mangroves and 200 m wide mud flats.
