Beach NT 115 is a curving, northeast-facing, 800 m long, high tide sand beach, which terminates at the creek mouth and is backed by a few low beach ridges and then salt flats. On the eastern side beach NT 116 extends east for another 1.6 km, interrupted by two expanses of rock flats, with a central 800 m wide sandy-mud flat. A 4WD track runs along the back of the beach to the creek mouth.
