Beach NT 527 begins at a low rocky point that separates it from its southern neighbour. The shoreline turns and faces north as the 2.8 km long beach slowly curves round to finally face west toward its northern end. The beach is fronted by 300-400 m wide fringing reefs, and mangroves at the low northern rocky point. The vehicle track from the south reaches the centre of the beach, where two houses are located.
