Beach NT 594 continues on the south side of the river front as a 1.5 km wide series of beach ridges and salt flats. The beach faces east and is 4.3 km long, terminating against a mangrove-fringed 5-10 m high section of the coastal plain. The beach is paralleled by 300 m wide sand flats, which widen to the creek mouth, with a second smaller creek crossing toward the southern end of the beach.
