Approximately 12 km due south on the eastern side of Ulundurwi Bay is the small Yalliquin community. The community is located toward the northern end of a 1.6 km long crenulate west-facing beach (NT 866), that is backed by 10 m high bluffs in the north, grading into a series of beach ridges and finally several recurved spits, that terminate amongst mangroves. The beach spits are the terminus for sand moving around Everett Island and south along the shore.
