Beach NT 1165 is located at the tip of the northern headland, 1 km east of the community. It is a low energy, 200 m long, east-facing beach bordered by a low 100 m long rock reef, with rock flats filling the area between. As a result mangroves fringe either end of the beach, together with a few growing in lee of some central rocks. Mangroves dominate the shore between the point and the community beach.
