Gurrukpuy Beach (NT 999) is a curving 1.3 km long west-facing beach, which is the site of the Gove Yacht Club and is the most popular and heavily utilised beach in the Gove region. Up to 100 boats are usually moored off the beach and numerous dinghies usually litter the beach, with a public boat ramp next to the yacht club. The road along the back of the beach links the southern half of the peninsula to the mainland via a 50 m long causeway.
