Birritjimi-Wallaby Beach (NT 1007) extends from the eastern side of the rocky point for 5 km to Lombuy Creek. The beach initially faces north where it is called Birritjimi Beach, and curves slowly round to face northwest at the sandy creek mouth. The main Gove road runs along behind the beach with a few beachfront houses located toward the centre, where it is called Wallaby Beach. A narrow bar parallels the beach, widening to sand flats within 1 km of the creek mouth
